Rise and Fall of Edinniae

Ayesha Khan, first and last empress of Edinniae

Over a thousand years ago, Edinniae ruled as greatest of all human settlements. A wonder of bronze and stone. Chariots and legions of bowmen. She conquered much of Kaianor, even pushing into elf, Urreshi, and Makao territory.

With the elven Cantirs’ superior magic, the Edinniaer forces were routed. But the Empress Ayesha called on the void for help. She was the first Dark Cantir. She opened the way for Xallax and his Drall to the heart of Edinniae. Her own land was soon overrun. When the world cracked, Edinniae sank into the sea, leaving only Hothir and Jafara as remnants.

In the aftermath, the Drall conquered and overran Azmavor, land of the Ornai. Many temples were lost. Bori of the High Elves was lost. Skana, first knight of Ayesha, fell in battle. Fyori became Elflord of the High Elves.
